AGENCY: Independent (Spec Work)
CAMPAIGN: Future Masters
INSIGHT: Too many children's natural creativity is killed in the places where it should be nurtured: at home or at school by the parents and teachers they look up to.
IDEA: Remind grown-ups that, even in a world where creative careers are seen as less than lucrative, every kid’s imagination is invaluable.
AWARDS: Regional ADDY Award, Gold: Magazine Campaign | SCADDY Award, Gold: Copywriting
TRADITIONAL
“There’s a glimmer in her eyes when you tell her / That no one knows how mermaids look / And she replies / ‘They will in a minute’ / And her fingers glide across the paper / Her favorite colors dancing just for her / As she shows you / How right she is.”
“In a world where boys don’t draw / He will paint / He will sketch / He will create / He won’t be bound to a cubicle / With his boss yelling in his ear / About those charts he never cared about / Because he will draw.”
“When crayon touches paper a new world is born / Where she is the queen / And she makes the rules / And if all the people in her world / Have octopus hair and flowering bellybuttons / Then that’s just the way it is / When crayon touches paper, our world doesn’t matter / She has her own.”
“A right brain won’t survive / In places made for lefts / So the right brain must work / Her imagination must be strong / And her creativity stronger / With her will the almighty force behind it all / And then not only will she survive / She will thrive.”
